Food insecurity, climate vulnerability, and market access barriers continue to affect millions across Africa. EEH supports policies and programs that build resilient, inclusive food systems and promote sustainable agricultural development. We explore the intersection of food, nutrition, gender, and livelihoods to inform strategies that work for smallholder farmers and consumers alike. Our research focuses on evidence-based agricultural innovation, nutrition-sensitive approaches, and pathways to equitable access to markets and technologies. We aim to ensure that African food systems are not only productive but sustainable, nourishing, and just — from farm to fork.
